Synopsis

In this unit, it is my hope that students will understand age appropriate language about race, prejudice, bias and privilege.  I want students to understand the value of who they are as a person and the unique qualities that they have.  I want students to also be able to recognize the unique qualities in other students to be able to connect in groups other than their typical peer groups based on race.
