Applications

 

Applications for 2024 seminars will open in February 2024.  Please complete our teacher interest form to get regular updates.  The deadline is Sunday, March 10, 2024. 

Steps to Apply

  1. Consult CTI Fellow eligibility requirements and the CTI Seminar Calendar (when available) and confirm your ability to fully participate (13 seminar meetings: 3 in April/May, and 10 in the Fall).
  2. Prepare your online application, including a proposed curriculum unit essay for each seminar to which you apply.
  3. Submit your application online by the due date on Sunday, 10 March 2024, at midnight at: CTI SEMINAR APPLICATION. 

Important Tips

  • Apply to more than one seminar to increase likelihood of being accepted as at CTI Fellow. (You can apply for up to three; only one seminar will be assigned.)
  • Discuss CTI applications with your principal. When you submit your CTI application, your principal will immediately receive an email request to review and approve your application online. Principal approval is required.
  • Make sure your curriculum unit essay relates the seminar topic to the students and the subjects you teach

The CTI admissions committee is composed of CTI teacher leaders (CMS classroom teachers) who review all applications following set eligibility criteria, and select Fellows into CTI seminars each year. Thirteen Fellows from diverse grade levels, subjects areas and schools are admitted to each seminar.
