Synopsis
This curriculum unit focuses on the concepts of helping students make
connections between how their behavior – actions, speech, thoughts – has an effect on
those around them. Students will study characterization through reading informational
and fictional text. We analyze the characters in the text and understand the effect they
have on those around them and then transfer that knowledge to understanding our own
personal character.
