200 Word Synopsis

This unit is designed to be an end of year study of American political parties after the study of American history.  It requires students to utilize content knowledge of key events in American history to analyze key primary documents in the formation of American political parties.  Through the analysis done using a variety of instructional strategies, the students will conclude for themselves if America’s political parties truly reflect the people they claim to represent.
