Synopsis
This unit will focus on implementing movement into instructional based activities. Scholars will begin to read A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park1. Scholars will use this movement-based activity to create meaning within the text. Through these activities scholars will be able to analyze how setting shapes plot as well as determine the theme of a text and explain its development over the course of the text.
