Synopsis:
Necessary Nano is a unit plan created with the hopes of providing 2nd graders with a more in depth understanding surrounding the concepts of measurement. It will allow for students to explore measurement tools in a way that will allow them to determine the appropriate tool to measure selected objects. In addition to exploring measurement tools, students will also learn different units of measurement.
