The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionized language education, offering unprecedented opportunities for enhanced learning. Recent studies indicate that AI-assisted language learning can accelerate acquisition by 50% while improving retention rates by 30% compared to conventional methods (Xia et al., 2024). This seminar delves into the transformative potential of AI tools in language education.
Our program focuses on Large Language Models (LLMs), examining their development and practical applications in language instruction. We will explore comprehensive strategies for classroom integration, covering everything from lesson planning to assessment design. The seminar aims to equip educators with effective methods for combining AI tools with sound pedagogical approaches to optimize student learning outcomes.
Beyond the classroom, we emphasize the importance of sustained language development. Participants will learn strategies to guide students in leveraging AI tools for independent learning, fostering continuous progress and autonomous language acquisition.
