Final Unit (PDF) Implementing Common Core Standards (PDF)
Synopsis
This unit is intended to have students look at the decisions that they make today
and how it will impact them in the future as well as what were the driving forces in their
decision making process. Students will read two stories that are of high interest, as well as
high consequence. The stories, The Most Dangerous Game and The Lady and the Tiger,
create opportunities for students to question the decisions of the main characters and discuss
the consequences of those decisions.
