2016 Summer Research Experience for Teachers
For the first time, CTI offered its Fellows the opportunity to collaborate with professors in research laboratories at UNC Charlotte and Davidson College, as part of its Summer Research Experience for Teachers (SRET). Ten CMS teachers collaborated with professors and graduate assistants, as part of the SRET during June and July. These CTI Fellows worked in four different laboratories led by university and college professors: Dr. Susan Trammell, physics and optical science, UNC Charlotte; and Dr. Marcus Jones, chemistry, UNC Charlotte. Here’s a quick glimpse into their research topics and their work together:
