Brian Kingsley (Chief Academic Officer at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools) shared his appreciation for the value of CTI Fellows who dig deep to sharpen their craft and elevate the profession through innovative university-school partnerships.
Kristi Thomas (Wells Fargo Foundation and 10-year CTI partner) expressed empathy for teachers, especially for 8th grade teachers, and praise for creative CTI Fellows who create new curriculum for PK-12 students in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
Brian Jones, Ph.D., (Dean of College of Arts and Letters at Johnson C. Smith University, and professor of history) explored three reasons he supports CTI’s missions to strengthen teaching and learning through effective teacher-centered seminars led by university professors.
